I own a Stainless Ruger Single Action with the .22/.22 Mag cylinder. For the money, it's a good value. If you want an inexpensive Single Action, Heritage Rough Rider. They work.

I was thinking about getting a heritage (just looking for a cheap plinker) but then i saw the priced tag on the new Ruger at most places is under $200, hard to beat that. just looks like the hard part is finding someone that has them in stock

The Heritage Rough Rider works, a wide selection at a very affordable price.
Ruger is going after the Heritage Rough Rider market. I owned a Rough Rider 3" birds head model and shot thousands of rounds of Thunderbolt in 22 LR and CCI .22 Mags. I wanted a longer barrel revolver and bought the 7" Stainless Single Action Ruger. I would recommend a longer barrel for Target shooting and hunting.

I owned a Heritage Rough Rider that I shot thousands of rounds using high velocity ammunition in .22 LR and .22 Magnum without a problem, Ruger was losing sales and decided to add the Wrangler model. I purchased a Stainless Ruger Single Action convertible model. If you want a better quality revolver you want the Stainless version that costs around $600 new or buy the .22 LR version by Ruger for under $200.
Yea I think I’m going to end up going with the bronze ruger wrangler if I can find one. My sr22 works great, loving it so far, I know they make good stuff.
