Just picked up a p365 NIB. Heading to the range later on today. I know there's a lot of controversy about this gun. Anyone here own one? What an I expect? Thanks

i know a few Mass RR Swat officers who bet their life on it and carry it off duty, i guaranty you that they put a many rounds down range and through many drills before deciding to carry it

have an August production 365 and it's flawless after 400 rounds. I love it. Sig seems to have worked out the kinks.

Thanks fellas, put 100 rounds thru it the other day. Ran flawless. Only problem I had was (operator error) I was riding the slide stop lever and the gun wasn’t holding back on last round so I adjusted my grip and it was good to go

I picked up a P365 at the end of August. Took it out to the range and put about 200 rounds through it without a problem.

I rented the P365 at DSI a few months ago. Surprisingly accurate for its size. When I eventually move to a free state, I would definitely consider the P365 was my concealed carry weapon.

That gun has probably 10,000 rounds through it already too.

I doubt anyone has it in stock at retail.  I'm 30 days into a wait list backorder at my local gunstore.

Grab A Gun has them in stock, but you pay full MSRP of $599, plus shipping & FFL.

I had to wait 3 weeks for my P365 and paid $499+tax.

How can you tell what production run you have? I was going to wait until the safety lock came out anyway but was just wondering for an online grab.

I held one for the first time today. With stock mag it's too short for my hand, with extended mag it fits fine. They had them on sle for 499 for Valentine's day and had jsut sold the last one. I went to range they have and the (very cute) Chief RSO showed it to me, said she had rented it this morning and the guy went to store and bought the last one. Funny, dropped my wife off at Hobby Lobby across the road (I'm not allowed in there as I do bad things with the letters and such) and she said- "If you want the gun, buy it". I'll stick with what I have for now, but could see getting one. I also looked at the SP101 in 22, and a bunch of other stuff

365 is a great gun.

Normal civilians can't even carry in NY so the whole "I wont risk my life on its reliability" is moot. If it breaks on you after 5000 rounds at the range, sig will fix it and upgrade it for free.

Living in a free state, it does make a difference what you carry. Still have the LC9s Proon me, along with a G 43. The P365 is on my short list, they are regularly available here for 499

Have a back up and spare magazines. Practice with the equipment you carry and be prepared.
