So I went to dsi for the first time yesterday and I'm no lawyer but are half the firearms that they are even selling legal in ny. I wanna pickup a 1522 but I know it's illegal do to the pistol grip. But they seem to be selling plenty of ny safe act disapproved guns.

So back to the original ...

A lawyer could give two shi#s if the firearms were legal or not unless he/she was buying one.

There are no UN-safe Act disapproved guns, only ineligible buyers.

I'm sure they would sell you a 1522 that your eligible to buy.

Why to you care? Do you work for Andy?

One of the other major differences is many internet sites only sell what is discounted at the time.  Manufacturers run promotions from time to time, buy 5 get one free for example.  The internet site may only sell that model when it is on special.  As a brick and mortar, we try to offer all of the standard products all of the time.  This means averaging out the price on them so they can always be available at that price all of time.
