Quick question, anyone know what Jerry's is getting for handgun transfers? I believe it's $25 but just wanted to confirm. Thanks.

You can also call Britt Firearms. Ask for Randy. They're so close to the NCPD HQ you could walk.

Thank you. Did not know about Bruce @ Hunter Essentials. I have purchased and transferred from Britt (rifles) before but not for years. What do they charge for transfers?

Not sure if they still do, but Britt has/had a range downstairs. I shot quite a few pistols down there during the late 80's which is right about the same time their website was last updated ;-) Randy was always a good guy.

Randy @ britt is a gentleman. If u plan on transferring, call first. He schedules any transfers when another worker is present.

Britt may be $50, I'd call and check.

Love Britts. It looks a lot better since he cleaned it up a bit last year. range is still in use, but I think it's for "club members".

Funny I was there talking to Vick about that the other day. Its true what you read and hear about it. Lots of BS from the govt on all 3 levels, fed, state and county. Paperwork up the gazoo, tons of bookkeeping. After I heard all of that, I had a headache. I had to leave the store. lol.

Last I spoke to him (less than a year ago) it was the same deal as it had been for many years (even going back to when Mike Britt was there). Range was for members. No day passes. He wants the membership fee for insurance or something like that. Despite it's limitations it was a handy place to shoot. Nice people. On the way back to the car I'd always stop by to see Don at Baseline Hobbies.

Vick hit it right on the nose. Just called Britt and they said it was $50 for incoming transfers.

Gotta bring this topic back up! Thinking about using Randy as an ffl for a handgun coming from an ffl in Seattle. Do I need to cal randy first? Or can I just give the other ffl Randy's address ? Reason I ask is the guy wants to ship tomorrow but I know Britts is closed on Mondays. I would use Bruce but his hours are sometimes hit or miss with me coming from the city (I usually get to his area around 530).

I was thinking of giving the guy Britts address and i could just call randy on Tuesday to give him the heads up that it's coming. Do I need anything else?

Dude i told you already.

Get the NY ffl to fax over their ffl certificate to the seller. You can tell them then that they will be receiving a handgun.
