Eastern Long Island Kampground in Greenport. It get's mixed reviews.

I called to make a reservation on Wed. I left a message. I'm still waiting for a call back. The 1950's called. They want their reservation system back.

Eastern Long Island Kampground is nice but they are very strict and charge for everything. Its also referred to as the "Land of No" because if you have to ask the answer is most likely no.
Around the corner is Mccanns on Moores lane. Its nice but is no frills. Has full hookups and bathrooms and thats it but its clean and quiet.
Just my 2 cents.

Update: I called again about a week later and left a message. I did get a call back within an hour and at 7 pm which was odd but nevertheless. Made my reservation and was expecting some paperwork in the mail. I'm still waiting. I'll have to call and leave yet another message about the paperwork. This will probably be the first and last time I will book. Too Mom and Pop shop for me. They either need to up their game or change their reservation system to something online and get into the 21st century.
