send pistol grip seperately to your house.
do transfer.
have brake pinned.
now legally put on pg

The brake/compensator is an evil feature pinned or not.

As of the date of the post by m1lk it wasnt evil. Show how arbitrary and capricious the new law is.

that ak74 from Classic is very nice. The question is whether it can be shipped to NY and if an FFl like Volko will accept it.

Just picked up a Saiga 7.62x39. to keep it NY safe act compliant but be very close to an authentic AK. I swapped out the gas tube for an AK gas tube, which retains the upper hand guard. i have purchased a lower handguard retainer which does just that. i plan to order a set of wood furniture ( a "sporting" stock) with matching hand guards. change the front sight block in order to hold the cleaning rod. and boom. the closest thing you will find to a real russian AK

Got one too - ordered from Atlantic Firearms for $479 shippped and Lanbo Armory has them for like $453.

Keep in mind that if you modify it to include any other evil feature (since it qualifies because of semi and mag fed), it is then illegal and CANNOT even be registered since you did not own it before the NY SAFE start date.

I am hearing ranges will be checking and the NYSPD will be visiting at random, to look for weapons to confiscate and/or people to arrest.

So I'll keep it in the sporter config until NY SAFE gets repealed or I leave NY. This way I can shoot it and not end up in Attica... :lol2

You put your :lol2 after the wrong sentence in your post.
It should have been like this:

"I am hearing ranges will be checking and the NYSPD will be visiting at random, to look for weapons to confiscate and/or people to arrest. :lol2"

Looks nice, yet it looks like it has a thread protector on the barrel, I would be concerned if non LEO.

He wants a grand for a Hungarian 1mm receiver.

Maybe in two or three years when Saigas finally run out.

WASRs could be reconfigured and with Saiga style wood stocks for less than that.

Any Saiga 7.62 with a $14 bullet guide addition can take AK47 mags.
Any 5.45mm Saiga (currently 499 at Atlantic Firearms) out of the box can take Ak74 mags without modification.
But with a 10 round NY limit and factory 10 round mags being inexpensive these days there's not that much of a reason for it.

I got the saiga. I'm leaving it stock. I modified some AK mags with 2 holes in the front lip a zinc 18gu staple and some jb molded over it. Feeds like a saiga mag at half the price.
