Camping smiths point next week. First time camping, renting the camper. Any suggestions on what to bring that might make life easier? Thanks

+1 on the solo cups. They will send you packing for drinking out there. Bug spray, firewood, good food family and friends and booze.

God forbid you imbibe a legal beverage on public land. I hate this state.

Just got back from smiths. Thanks for all the tips. What a beautiful beach. My family had such a good time, Im hooked on the camping thing. Our site was upper extension. Second row. Nice and roomy and a beautiful view. I laughed when I saw ice cream truck go by every night that I was warned. First two days surf was crazy rough. Third day calmed down and my boys were able to boogie board. What a great trip

I was also there this past week. The weather was great and it looked like all the kids were having fun at the beach with their boogie boards, surf boards and whatever those things are called that go skimming along the shoreline.

Did you happen to see the Coke-a-Cola 18 wheeler that got stuck in the sand delivering to the small camp store?

We were at site #205. Not a great view of the bay but not terrible.
