****Shotgun Match this Sunday****

The original post is going all over the place so here is an easy read about the event, what to expect and what you need.

It is at LIPSA (the Pine Barrens range). You DO NOT need to be a member. Their website for location directions.http://www.lipsa.us/

Any tube or magazine fed 12 or 20 gauge shotgun will do. That's pump or autoloader. Don't worry about what choke you have or how many rounds your gun holds. Birdgun, Turkey Gun, Tactical gun it doesn't matter. NO Slugs, Buckshot or Hi Brass. Just plain old 7 1/2 or #8 bird shot that is just $19 or so a 100rd case at Walmart right now. The round count is 150 so bring 200rds just to be safe.

More then half the shooters will not have a way to hold their spare ammo and will use their pockets.

You will be knocking down steel as fast as you can in this match. Poppers, Plates and I am sure a Texas Star or two will be there (Google it). Don't be surprized if they have some clays thrown up by knocked down steel too.

The cost is $20. YOU HAVE TO BE THERE BEFORE 9am READY TO SHOOT If you want to be squaded with a friend be there by 8:30am. Again that is ready to shoot not driving in the parking lot.

This is a very easy match and the best one for new guys. Bring water, eye and ear protection. Unless it's a huge turnout you should be on your way home 1pm or so. If you stay after the match and help clean up and put away the steel you will be on your first steps to having a chance at becoming a member.
