Training taught by Rob Pincus. Rob is the developer of the Combat Focus Shooting system. For those who don’t know who Rob is, he is former Military, former Law Enforcement and the former director of operations for Valhalla Shooting Center in Colorado. Rob is currently the host of the NRA’s Personal Firearm Defense DVD series, host of the “The Best Defense” and “SWAT Magazine TV” shows on the outdoor channel and current director of I.C.E. This “Tactical and Practical” training series is an effort to introduce New York state shooters to some of the best and most progressive training available on the market today at an affordable price.

Read the rest of the review here: AAR- Combat Focus Shooting Course

Separate Optics Catagory in Review Section

I'm hoping, as the forum grows, there will be a separate catagory listing for optics.
Ratings, reviews, experiences, like and dislikes.
Speaking just for me I spend way too much time reading reviews on the Internet. So much so that it all becomes too much and the information gets muddled and well, unsless.
As the glass on top of that stick is often more than the price of the rifle, this is major purchase and research should be done.
I have yet to find anyone who has a good healty stock of good glass to see, look through, touch and feel. I can't say that I'm surprised, as it would be a heck of an outlay of cash for any dealer to have many thousands of dollars just sitting in the shop.
So we're dependant on reviews, reccomendations and manufactures blurbs.
I'd rather hear it from those of you who have made purchases and have had a bit of time to use what you have.

Currently I have mountains of catalogs, Lupey, SWFA, and anything else I could get my hands on.
I'm looking for real life experience.
I'm looking to glass up a rem 700 before summer. Will only have one shot at it. I really don't want to make a mistake and I'm leary of jumping on the 'tactical' bandwagon, although some of the offerings sure are slick.

Anyway, maybe is there is enough interest the powers that be can create a new catagory, under reviews of under rifles.

Thanks

M-Pro 7 Gun Oil LPX – Combat Ready Lubricant

M-Pro 7 Gun Oil LPX – Combat Ready Lubricant Protectant with Cleaner

Overland Park, KS - M-Pro7 unveils its next generation technology in the new M-Pro7 Gun Oil LPX. More than just a gun oil, this product replaces all gun oils, cleaner-lubricant-protectants (commonly known as “CLPs”) and dry lubes. M-Pro7 Gun Oil LPX provides the benefits of current lubricants while mitigating typical drawbacks such as evaporation, separation, gumming and toxic odor.

Most gun lubricants on the shelf today are formulated from decade-old technology. M-Pro7 conducted extensive cross-industry research of recent lubrication advancements which led to a breakthrough: an innovation in blending synthetic oils, liquid molybdenum and polymers. The new LPX additive contains a component with the lowest known friction coefficient which means that it is slick as physically possible.

M-Pro7 Gun Oil LPX also contains a non-solvent based cleaning agent. This new technology repels dust and dirt and can be used as a “cleaner” to remove surface carbon in the field. M-Pro7 Gun Cleaner should be used for periodic deep cleaning and removal of embedded fouling.

M-Pro7 Gun Oil LPX is the only commercial product to pass the initial testing for the recently updated military weapons specification (MILSPEC) including the 900 hour humidity cabinet corrosion and 100 hour salt spray corrosion testing.

Unlike most military “CLPs” that are commercially available, consumers who buy M-Pro7 Gun Oil LPX get the same formula that is sold to the military. M-Pro7 Gun Oil LPX provides unparalleled protection against wear, humidity, moisture, (including salt water) and leaves a long-lasting film that repels dust and dirt. This film will not evaporate and is excellent for long-term storage.

Testing by the Environmental Protection Agency details that this oil technology biodegrades and demonstrated no ill health effects including inhalation, oral ingestion or skin.

M-Pro7 Gun Oil LPX is the next generation of lubricant-protectant with cleaner for advanced military and law enforcement style handheld and crew-served weaponry used in extreme environments.
