Open Carry / Concealed Carry, and the PD.

OK. So, as a Suffolk resident, I can concealed carry to and from the range, as well as stop for a non-alcoholic meal break. Now, suppose ... as weather warms up, my jacket opens, revealing the fact that I'm carrying. Am I in any violation??

Now, can I stop for a non-alcoholic meal break in Nassau, if the range is in Nassau?

Furthermore ... what if the range is in an upstate County? (I am a property owner in the same County, and a member at the fish and game club).

I am in the market for a pre ban sig 226 ( west German stamped) in the 1988-1993 range. I do have a 5000 to 8000 round one lined up from a co worker parkerized with nite sites two 15 round mags and one 20. I will have to go FFL to FFl hassle.
I've seen a few down here while in Florida and looking for something similar with less round count. I know of one never shot NIB from 93 with 4 mags but only two are original razor back the other two are straight line and I don't think those are pre ban and he will only sell with the 4 mags.
This is the point Just in case I find one down here or buy my co workers either way FFL to FFL I want to make 100% sure this is LEGAL for me to ship and own in NYS with my Suffolk License. If it is Who knows maybe I will find one on Long Island when i get back.

One more I am curious can you own a newer Gun post ban and use pre ban mags legally in the gun in NYS?

I hope to have one in my hands by the middle of April thats my target. Just want to make sure I am within the Law!

Then Have my two pistols and have fun at the range. Thanks

PS no ammo down here unless you want to get hit over the head with the price!!!

A guy buries his Glock 21 for 2 years, digs it up and shoots 500 rounds through it without lube.
So the question is, how do you feel about lubing Glocks, lube or no lube?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj5Kcs4dzro

Rear sight adjustment

I need some help. I think I need to adjust the rear sight on my Glock 30. I must be an idiot, cause the more I think about it, the more I confuse myself. I can't figure out which way I need to go.

If you look at the target, I shot 9 rounds at 3 yards. All landed to the RIGHT of the "X". The same thing happens no matter how far out I go(within reason). I tend to be to the RIGHT of the "X".

In the pic I have done my best to add 2 arrows one RED and one GREEN.

I think I need to move the rear sight in the direction of the RED arrow. Is this correct?

Thanks in advance. -CJ
