I clean my guns after every outing; usually shoot between 100-200 rounds. This way I stay familiar with how to it break down, clean it, lube it, and put it back together, and ensure that the firearm is not showing excessive wear on any component that may need replacement.

Besides, I like a clean gun in case somebody comes over and wants to see my collection.

Troll thread for the Glockies

For them it's easy. All they need is a Maytag Dishwasher and some soap.

My HD gun I clean after every use. Range guns? When I either get around to it or if they start hanging up.

I spend about an hour on each firearm after each use, No carbon, lead or copper left on them....Been drilled into me a long time ago by. a guy who yelled alot and wore a funny green hat and had no sense of humor....My EDC..which is now a x-ds. Weekly wipe down to get the lint off......
