I have always like the look of the wooden thumbhole buttstock but preferred the traditional wooden handguard from the AK47.

My question is can I put a VEPR buttstock on an AK47? I know that the VEPR has a slanted receiver and thus so is the buttstock, but I have heard that some of the newer VEPRs are being made with square receivers.

If so can someone please point me in the right direction to buying a VEPR buttstock that will fit my AK47?

If the VEPR buttstock cannot be found does anyone know where I can find a PSL/SVD buttstock(wooden) that will fit my AK47?

My specific model of AK is the M10-762 make by M&M and is Romanian in origin I believer.

If non of these are possible let me know if anyone is up for trading furniture.

You could always get a vepr and replace the handguard. When centerfire gets them back in stock they werent a bad price.

MAK 90's came with a thumbhole stock.  That should fit no problem.

If it already has a slant receiver, it shouldn't be an issue... But I am confused as to why it would have a slant receiver if it is a traditional AKM.

This is what a VEPR (current production) looks like, if that helps you compare.
