Only problem is that you need to be a NYC resident with a license in NYC  or have a special endorsement on an out of NYC License to bring any handgun into NYC

I took the Bowhunter course there last year...   OK place, it's kinda tucked away which is no biggie... but Parking is an issue there (I had to walk 5 blocks)

and, it is pretty much as far west as you can get without hitting water!

Is this place still open?  I travelled there the other day to inquire about membership.  It must have been about 1:00pm in the afternoon.  The door was locked.  There was no sign - it looked like the placard had been taken down where the sign was supposed to be. I called several times over a span of a couple of days and no one ever answers.  No answering service either.

If you happen to stop by the club, look up at the light over the door. If it is on, the the range is open.  If not the best time to call would be Friday night after 7pm. The range is open and the Range Officer (Ron) will be at the desk

I joined 3 years ago and recently my wife got her target permit and also joined. A cast of characters to be sure. But what a group of knowledgeable men. Some of them are a bit older then me but they can shoot like the devil. A lot of knowledge and expertise they are always willing to share.

Believe it is called a Premises License, NYC does not issue target licenses now. Moved out 15 years ago. Use to go to a range @ 114 st & jamica ave under a chinese restaurant. Don't know if it's still there.

I used to go a lot more often but since I've become a father, I haven't had a chance to really go.

I'm picking up my GP100 this weekend and probably shooting next weekend.

Just joined today! Bunch of nice guys there. Nice place, nice neighborhood and really reasonble membership dues.
Being that I only have 3 choices if I wanna shoot in queens, this is the best place . Woodhaven and Seneca weren't very friendly and they were in shady neighborhoods.
