I figured we could take a break from the what body wash, paper towel, cheese spread etc... you prefer threads to talk about guns :)  Ok, as you may know, I am very fond of the HK.  At one time or another, I pretty much owned every model that they make.  I have bought and sold many semi autos (sigs, Berettas, rugers) and have finally found the ultimate one for me.  I got it about 8 weeks ago and have already put about 300 flawless rounds through it.  It is the softest shooting .45 I have ever had the pleasure of shooting.  It is extremely accurate.  It is my grail gun, the Glock 30.  It has been a long and expensive journey.  I also purchased a gen 4 Glock 21.  Also a great gun, but the 30 is something special.  I had a 36(thinner, but 6 round magazine that pinched my pinky) but in my opinion the 30 has it beat.   With a liberal sinkhole compliant preban magazine you get 13+1 rounds of .45 goodness. No, I will not change my name, I will always be HKFANBOY. :P  So, getting back on topic, what brand of bathroom airfreshner do you prefer, Glade or Frabreeze?

Congrats on the gun. The Glock 30 would be my choice if I ever bought a Glock.

I find my grail gun every couple of months... They always get replaced by another.

I think the clinical term for it is "chasing the dragon"  ;D

Well heck, most folks say 1911.  Mine was... but it took a lot of customization and fitting to my hand to be able to say that.  After a couple years of almost continuous work, I can now say I'm happy with the way it fits.  I can point shoot it to within a couple inches, as well.

I thought I'd keep it like this, with just an ambi safety added (I'm a lefty).  Silly me.

Most recent.

There were a lot of in-between shots but I couldn't remember their order!

I trained on a Glock and I don't like them.  The grip is such that it makes me shoot high.  I will grudgingly admit that they're good weapons, though.

Congratulations on finding your (temporary ? :)) holy grail.

Mtm "So, getting back on topic, what brand of bathroom airfreshner do you prefer, Glade or Frabreeze?" made me laugh out loud. Now back to our regular programming  :)

Mine was the 3" Kimber (Lil' Kim). Than the next Holy Grail was the 4 1/4" Super Pro Carry Kimber. Then, the Sig Tac Pro 5" 1911. Then the 4 1/4" Para. With a few Hi-Powers, Sig DA/SA's, and a RIA 9mm thrown in the middle for giggles. But the Super Pro Carry Kimber always resurfaces as the leader of the pack. Now, I'm thinking a nice Les Baer might dethrown the Kimber. Or a Fusion Firearms frame & slide kit built to my specs.

My mind is like a steel trap ... Rusty and Illegal in 34 states.

We have enough gun control. What we need is idiot control.
