AR's come and go in my life, but there are a few
that I cannot seem to let go in pursuit for a newer
or better version... one in particular is my AR-10
Rock River Arms LAR-8 Varmint A4 .308

I have taken this rifle on trips to 400 - 600yd
shooting distances pinging reactive 10" steel
targets and it never fails to make me smile after
every pull of the trigger.

I commonly achieve sub-MOA results with
this 26" Stainless Bull barrel without even
trying.  Rapid fire 200yrd shooting yields a
cluster of 10 bullet holes so close that they all
could fit within the size of a golf ball... thanks
in part to a custom made muzzle brake that
literally eliminates all recoil keeping my eye
on the target.

Never a jam, misfire or any other issues.  Solid
built, accurate and ready for action.  When it
comes to AR's, this is how I like it done.   8)

- Rock River Arms LAR-8, .308 Semi-Auto AR-10
- 7075 Aircraft Aluminum 4 Port Muzzle Brake, Blackened Ports
- 26" Cryogenically Treated Stainless Bull Barrel, 1:10
- Advanced Half Quad Free Floating Handguard
- Operator A2 Stock (shown , it's now a Magpul PRS with Accu-Shot Precision Monorail)
- Nikko Sterling 10-50x60mm Long Range Optics Mil-Dot IR, 30mm tube

Next time I take the rifle out, I'll take some photos of
the shot results... the Mickey Mouse pattern accuracy is
awe inspiring especially coming from an Semi-Auto.

Hope you enjoyed this.  :P  TGIF!

I envy the cleanliness of your work area,  If i took a picture of our work bench it would look like an episode of hoarders minus the cats, trash and rodents.

JEEZ!! How many different Vernier calipers does a guy need?!! I hate people like you.

Beautiful rifle. I won't even ask what the damage is but I am curious, who makes the barrel?

When good people are armed, it's never a problem. Sometimes, it's a solution.

Two cops murdered sitting in their patrol car in the middle of the afternoon, 5 days prior to Christmas.  The Mayor is against the police department.
"Captain" Will calls this "a little adversity" and his lawyer cheerleader MasonEtAl "Likes" it.
Another lawyer calls Ferguson P.O. Wilson a murderer and should be immediately prosecuted.  MasonEtAl "Likes" that too.
Interesting group we have here.

Nice rifle, very nice.
"To prohibit a citizen from wearing or carrying a war arm . . . is an unwarranted restriction upon the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of constitutional privilege." Handy little carbine. The M44 is a combination flash bang grenade, flame thrower, rifle, and spear all in one.

Beautiful set-up.
