Please look around the board or do a search before starting new threads especially about the recent events. We are literally deleting or locking 100s of duplicate threads every day.

The new software pops up a window (actually slides down) that checks the text of what you entered and shows you threads that may match. This allows you to see if the topic you're about to post is already posted on the site.

Also please make an attempt to put threads where they belong. If it has ANYTHING to do with guns DO NOT post it in chit chat. I'm sure everyone is sick of seeing the 300 wasted posts a day I make moving threads.

We opened an area specifically for anything related to the recent events, so put anything related to the recent ban in that area.

LIF doesn't get involved in any 'political organizing'. Furthermore, after the Highway vote (March), we are not allowing any political type posts in respect to house rule #10. Any member found posting or PMing members about political (non 2a related) will be warned, if continued abuse, well you know what will happen.

We are a firearms community, not a political website to 'recruit members'. Folks are signing up to make a political position and don't even own a firearm!
