Are there any limitations currently in effect at any Suffolk ranges??

It appears prohibited in some other places because of a fire hazard -- not because it is AP.

M856 is the tracer round which can be considered a fire hazard.

Thanks for clarifying that.  I was wondering how m855 could be a fire hazard.

Just curious, are tracers allowed at the DSI range?

I heard somebody set a bush on fire at Calverton with a tracer not too long ago.

Tracers aren't allowed at the DSI range, neither is M855 due to the fact that they're penetrators.

At brookhaven we don't allow any tracers but the green tip penetrators are fine.
