Say, these pics is really nice.. but i'll definitely keep them in mind when i'm in the mood for another gun, Right now SKS need some love for awhile (restoration)  :D

No doubt. And if it still has any cosmo on it the best thing to clean it with is Kerosene (with proper ventilation of course)....I still have an extra one laying around I'm slowly degunking LOL Good luck!

Not to derail this thread but Destro brought up the Saiga and the conversions we once were allowed to do in this dung filled State in which we live. Here are two of the 922r conversions I did with Saiga Sporters.

Let's hope Unsafe Act loosen up a bit so we can have these back!

I agree, but I'm still building my 922r compliant stuff in the Carolinas where I own another residence. I'll be relocating there full time as soon as I retire. Screw NY, I'm almost outta here !!!

The Yugoslavians take the time to pack there surplus arms the Chinese from what I was told shoot hot cosmoline down the barrel then stack them in a 55 gal drum muzzle up then stuff more SKSs in muzzle down the fill the drum with cosmoline and seal it the yugos have it shoot down the barrel then the gun is dipped in cosmoline hung so the excess drips of then repeated when the goo has hardened it is wrapped in the waxy paper then stack in a crate.
