Basically they upheld ATF rules. Give up your Marijuana medical card or you can not get a new firearm from FFL. Existing firearms you own are ok to keep.

http://www.usacarry....s-dope-smokers/

“[A]ny person who uses or is addicted to marijuana, regardless of whether his or her State has passed legislation authorizing marijuana use for medicinal purposes, is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and is prohibited by Federal law from possessing firearms or ammunition.

Such persons should answer ‘yes’ to question 11.e. on ATF Form 4473 . . . and you may not transfer firearms or ammunition to them. Further, if you are aware that the potential transferee is in possession of a card authorizing the possession and use of marijuana under State law, then you have ‘reasonable cause to believe’ that the person is an unlawful user of a controlled substance. As such, you may not transfer firearms or ammunition to the person, even if the person answered ‘no’ to question 11.e. on ATF Form 4473.”

The irony is that the way Federal law is worded regarding be addicted to or a user of unlawful drugs, just about the only people who couldn't at least have plausible deniability in answering "No" to the illegal drug question on the 4473 form are people with state marijuana cards and/or prescriptions for "legal" marijuana.

I am against legalizing marijuana, but if states want to legalize it for medical or recreational use, they should get the Federal ban removed first.  States are turning their own citizens into felons by handing out cards and licenses so they can "legally" buy and a sell a product that is still totally illegal under Federal Law.  If Sessions decides to crack down these "legal" marijuana sellers and users are going to be screwed.

Well if they let the pothead have gun it would most like coin a new phrase on YOUTUBE " Yo Dude hold my joint" or bong or pipe.  Oh how the gene pool would benefit from this in the long run.
