did you see this? it's tuberolachnus salignus. or giant willow aphid.

thanks, that looks as close as i have found on the interwebs. i soaked it with pinesol then hosed it off, i havent seen them today. i will get bug killer spray from home depot tomorrow and soak then powerwash. thanks for the replies

You have to let it dry. while wet, keep everyone away from it.

Permethrin is exactly what one uses to kill fleas/ticks on dogs, and when applied to clothing it will kill ticks that crawl on the fabric. It is toxic to cats however.

It isn't. Stink bugs are at least 5x as big and look quite different.
