Another +1 to Jerry of Jerry's Firearms for once again smoothly transferring 2 new pistols to me and receiving a couple k of ammo for me this past week. Did the Yaphank shuffle on Friday afternoon to get them on my license. Kudos to the officer at PLB. She was very funny and courteous and got me on my way in record time .

My new purchases this time around were a Glock 30 Gen 4 and a Smith and Wesson M&P 9c. I usually prefer steel or stainless steel pistols and revolvers but something about the 30 and 9c called to me. I figured it was time for more diversification in my small but growing stable.

I installed a Ghost connector and a Storm Lake stainless barrel in the G30. I also have Trijicon night sights for the G30 but haven't installed them yet. The M&P 9c is remaining stock except for tritium night sights

I had the opportunity to get my first range time with them in at Medford this morning.

All I can say is WOW! for the G30. What a sweet shooting compact 45! Far exceeded my expectations for how little recoil is felt .And the trigger with the new connector makes a significant difference. Schaweeettt!!

I really enjoyed the M&P9c as well. The trigger is a little gritty but still nice. I considered the Shield as well but the deciding factor was the 10+1 capacity.

Congrats again!

Absolutely loved the G30! It cements my decision... that will be my next Glock when my next GSSF coupon arrives! Very accurate and manageable for a small compact .45 ACP!

Now you just need to get the 10mm conversion barrel... LOL! :)

Ahhh, it never ends!
