I love that store.

Out of curiosity, did you order it and transfer through there? Or know it was there? Or just walk in and it was available? I can't imagine those things hang around on the shelf for too long.

Walked in out of the blue to see if they had a shotgun barrel I was looking for (since found,) and after trying his hardest to get me to touch/feel/buy a Johnson 1941, Alan said he had something I had to see. I hope his wife will forgive me :)

Wow. That's even better! I usually buy used guns (very few exceptions.) Hunting them down or stumbling upon them is the best part.

Beautiful gun. Enjoy your new Python. My first handgun was a 4 in Royal Blue Python. I wound up trading it for a S&W 586 and $100 cash. I dont have the 586 anymore. Foolish stuff sometimes.

Here's a photo with the other grips that came with it.
<Since you posted, I figure you won't mind another photo>

And for the record, my wife, Kim, doesn't speak to me anymore because I sold the Python out from under her. She wanted to add it to her snake gun collection.

I can't get away with telling my wife how little I paid for guns. She likes Colt snake guns, she's knows how much guns can really cost.
