I was just listening to G. Gordon Liddy telling this story on his radio show;
While he was out an intruder broke into his home through the laundry room door. His wife and small children were at home at the time and his kids were crying for their mother saying "Mommy, mommy - the bad man is coming!". Mommy came down from the bedroom with his .357 magnum service revolver. At that point she cocked the psitol and pointed it at the intruder's head and said to the crying children "Now watch kids while mommy makes the bad man's head explode." At this point the intruder lost his bladder control then took off running.
This brought a smile to my face.

I remember watching him on an interview years ago, and the subject of guns came up.... I don't remember the subject, but he says "well as a convicted felon I can't own any guns... but my wife owns lots of guns!"
