If you're speaking about a handgun, which has been labeled as a "target" gun, that means it's been designed/manufactured for target shooting, i.e. a higher accuracy level, compared to the non-target guns. If you're talking about ammo, that's ammo which has been designed, by the manufacturer, to be of a greater consistency, downrange, than their general grade ammo, even in a non-target-grade gun. Typically, it means a higher grade of gun or ammo, for which you will pay a higher price. If you need a self-defense handgun or a hunting handgun, you don't need to spend the extra money, for a target grade gun. However, if you find one, at a very good price, grab it, provided it's not been shot out and doesn't rattle, from wear. Gary

Kimber produces excellent quality and their target grade guns are sought after. If interested, buy a raffle ticket or several and I wish you luck. Gary
