Anyone have any experioence with this model and care to share your thought?  I just set it (bore sited) and I am looking forward to shooting it for the first time this weekend.

can't say I'm familiar with the XCR, but am with Rem 700's.

I put a Leupold Mark 2  4 -12 variable 40 (Mil Dot) on it with one piece med height Vanguard mounts.  I was going to put a little more into the scope but I have two friends with the Mark 2 that camparison shopped the large Tube Mark 4 and they both seem satisfied with thier choice.  Basically I followed the crowd and was glad to find the out of production scope new.  I have my fingers crossed that it will be a shooter out of the box.
