I've been shooting for nearly 30 years, but other than my military training, I have not been instructed on any of my bad habits. I consider myself a fairly good shot, but I would be interested in formal instruction. I would need an instructor who would be able to adapt to some of my personal needs, I was injured in a work related accident and have reduced mobility in my arm extension and wrist flexion, so the orthodox grip/stance doesn't apply to me. Any suggestions?

Charlie at PT Tactical might be able to assist you.
But, I haven't seen him on the boards lately.

That which does not kill you has made a tactical error.

We have enough gun control. What we need is idiot control.

Sgt. squid - thanks for your service.  Are you looking for marksmanship/competition-type training, or gun handling (manipulations, reloads, holsters, etc.)?  If you're just looking for someone to give some input on habits and practies beyond the military training, I'd be happy to meet with you and give it a try.  However, I don't have any prior experience with considerably unorthodox grips/stances, though I'd be willing to brainstorm.  Also, if you consider yourself a very strong shooter, and a good shot, you might be beyond the level I'd feel comfortable instructing.  As Pate suggested, I've heard only amazing things about Chris Fry - he'd be the man to see.  Shoot me a PM if you want.  Good luck!
