The section of material with or without date is the magazine correct? And it is not critical to the structure of the mag. Ie, if you cut it out, the mag should still work. The rest of the stuff that makes the mag work is superfluous as far as preban goes. If you glue the preban 1/2" square of metal to a mag, is that legit?

Mag body can NOT be replaced you can however go nuts with the springs, followers and base plates.

This, the body of the magazine is the ONLY Thing that you CA NOT replace. Basically if it is damaged you are S.O.L.

However prebans are pretty cheap these days so stock up now before any nonsense starts again.

you can not legaly convert it from post ban mag body to pre ban mag body. as peri said buy the pre ban mags and do not play games it just is not worth the potential problems
