...or Suffolk Shooting Supply.  There are no FFL transfer fees at the Khyber Pass Gun Shop!

Hat Tip to Steve G for reminding me about this video from VICE from 2006 after his bulletproof tailor post.  VICE is a liberal publication/network but thier style of gonzo journalism is top notch from some boys from Brooklyn.  Definitely a MUST SEE.

Hey Winters- you think you might be able to swing by and pick me up a Norinco 9mm from the deaf guy?

vice is great, they dont seem to be influenced by any one like other larger news companies. They aren't very selective in there reporting as far as i can tell, tho a lot of it is just teenage garbage.

Fact: In 1982, Kennesaw, GA passed a law requiring heads of households to keep at least one
firearm in the house. The residential burglary rate dropped 89% the following year.

Interesting to see how the gun is making. Looks like one place that isn't in need of tort reform. You suppose the guy with no tongue cares if slide on that Mauser ("Made as China") flies off the back of the gun and buries itself in your skull?

Firearms with their bare hands. I should've paid more attention in shop class...wait, that's right, some whiny uber-liberal mom had shop classes shut down after her son got a splinter while making a birdhouse.

Right on Lamont.  Sometime around 1990, American educators decided we’d moved beyond such skills, into the Information Age. High schools across the land dumped their industrial-quality lathes, drill presses, bandsaws and welding rigs onto the used market.  Now its up to us to try and find them at a cheap price on eBay AND learn how to use them.

I think the "refined" educators looked down on the shop teacher and wanted them gone.  Also, shop class reminded them of their own inadequate skills.

And this trend started in the 70s, not the 90s.

Back in high school days(70's), remember in woodshop class how there always was some guy building a gun rack or gun cabinet? Imagine if some kid proposed that now? He would be given an immediate suspension for mentioning the word "gun" and the police would likely be called and his parents investigated.

I did it just last year in cabinet making built myself a nice oak gun cabinet. My cabinet making teacher was pro gun and a gun owner. He had no problem with it. Sure i had liberal teachers give looks. I didnt care one bit let them be upset its our right.

I remember my shop teacher was Pro-gun, actualy if I remember correct he said he owned an AK. At the time I had no concept of such things. My class was the last year to have shop classes, I think they turned it into a computer lab or something. Years before they had turned the shooting range into a weight room. (You can lift weights ANYWHERE- WHERE else but a range can I learn to shoot a .22?)
