So you have a Suffolk target pistol license.
Now you have also have the non resident Florida license (which is not stamped non resident) According to some.
You are now covered in other states which I will not list at this time.

What are the benefits to this?

Will this mean I can full Carry while in the State of Florida(PA and all the rest)?

Will this allow me to go to Florida hit a gun show buy a gun and drive it back to NYS?

Do you now have a full carry in these states only but your resident license still says target can you have a problem with your resident license?

So lets say I want to drive down to Florida can I legally bring my guns from NYS to Florida? I thought you cannot bring handguns across state lines?

If you can transport firearms to sates that you are licensed in OK but what happens if you pass threw a state you are not licensed in?

the FL license will show a non resident address and you will be arrested in most states. take it from a FL'ian - don't think your gonna beat the system and then lose everything.

almost all FL sellers will ask for a license and if yours is not FL they wont sell, same for the ccw showing out of state

you can bring any long guns anywhere - locked and ammo separate

you can bring NY registered pistol to a state you are licensed in and back.

you cannot bring a pistol from another state into NY - must be FFL'ed

if you pass through a state you are not license in the gun must be locked up and ammo separate

So the only benefit I see is that you can only bring your NY registered Handgun from NY to Florida or any of the other covered under that non resident license. By car or truck then when you get to that state you can Full Carry and use the ranges and thats it. Even if you have a second residence in one of the covered states you still cannot purchase a hand gun under that residence and bring it into NYS unless you go threw FFl is this correct.
What about that state asking for you primary license that show target only can this be a problem?
By no means do I think I can beat the system I just am interested in all this talk about out of state licensing and what are the benefits to do so.

I didnt think you meant to beat the system, just a precaution - ive seen all types of honest mistakes go bad...

Your permit(s) work just as you described - you carry where you are allowed and lock up where not allowed + ammo seperate.

Any pistol that comes to NY needs to be FFL'ed = which is stupid but the law, so you can buy anywhere and have it FFL'ed so it can go on your NY license, once on your license then you are free to roam around NY

Other states could care less about NY restrictions and ignore them

thats a tricky question - if you have a residence somewhere else then you can get a resident permit from that state - in NY you may only posses the firearms you are license for.
