If it was Centre County, I think Sheriff Nau is exceptional for PA non-res. Congrats & Enjoy!

Back in the day....

I think the fee for non-resident hunter was $12. Things have certainly changed since then , but PA is a state that makes a TON of money from hunting and fishing. Encouraging more people into the state is certainly in their best interests.

I just printed it out.

One of the questions says "Are you a habitual drunkard?"

I don't know why, but seeing that on an official type form made me laugh

I just had a question the other day asking if I had belonged to any group that has planned or plans to overthrow the government and I asked the person responsible for the applications if being a American counts.......

Possible answer:

"No, but I am willing to learn."
"Only on days that name end with a Y"
"No, I need all my energy for crack cocaine."
"Not currently, but when my parole is up, I plan to be."
"Not habitual, however, the twelve times I did drink, I blacked out and woke up in jail."

Or a simple "No." might work.

Thanks for the laugh!

Is this for a PA CCW?? I'm in PA fairly often, I'd love to be able to carry there.
I was considering a job in PA over the summer, their CCW laws are very appealling compared to LI. I even joined the PAFOA (Pennsylvania Firearms Owners Association).

I kinda find that question amusing being that in PA, apparently you can't buy a six-pack or a bottle of beer at a convenience store like we do here at 7-11....   You have to go to a beer distributor and can only buy CASES...

Is it just me or does that encourage more drinking?...  Me, I wanna get a 6-pack, for two of us it's enough...  Have to buy a case, well that just makes it more likely to have 4, 5, 6, maybe sevTHUD! oopshie, I fall down...wheresh my beer???

There are a lot of Blue Law places in PA. I was at a party once, at Slippery Rock U, and the Police came in "raiding" a party. People were dragging me out the back door saying I would be arrested. I told them I am over 21, and they said they will arrest me and charge me if they find one minor at the party. Anyone over 21 would be arrested.

Another time, a friend in Scranton went to a tattoo shop and was told there was a 48 hour wait for a tattoo, to make sure it was not "impulse".

Some towns will fine you for possession of alcohol on Sunday.

For all the BS laws about guns in NY, thank wheat they did not pass these stupid alcohol laws!

All they need is a copy of your pistol license (restricted is fine), copy of driver license, their form and a check for $25.
They ROCK!!

It's for a non-resident FULL conceal carry permit.
Mine took 5 business days to receive, Centre Co. as well.
I WISH NY was that easy.

BTW.. IIRC Pa. is also an open carry state without a permit.
Research it before relying on my posts. LOL
