Hey guys. I decided to join this forum to find out what ranges rent. I am from Patchogue and i am meeting a girl and i plan on taking her to a range to shoot as she has never shot a gun before. I myself have only shot a couple times at LISC which i rented from. I am only 20, is it correct that i need to be 21 to get my pistol licenses?

Anywhere in the suffolk nassau area that rents would be great. i plan on going trmw sat the 2nd.

Overall no one in my family was ever into guns to i apoligize in advance if i sound at all stupid.

You have to be 21 years old. You can download the pistol licensing handbook from the SCPD website at:

I'm not aware of any ranges in Suffolk County that rent handguns and if there are you would have to have your pistol license in order to rent the handgun.

the pistol license was kinda a side note.

i am interested in renting any type of rifle, shotgun, whatever.
