Just heard from someone who spoke to Harry and was informed that there is 28" of snow at the range. He can't even get his Jeep out. I guess the range will be closed for a few days.

The things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. People are good; honor, courage, virtue mean everything; power and money mean nothing; good always triumphs over evil; true love never dies. A man should believe in those things, because worth they believing in.

We got between 14 and 16 inches where I am in Woodmere.  Most likely due to the wind drifting it.  Still sucked to shovel.

2' + here in Holtsville.

A few windswept drifts over 5'.

Snow removal= not fun.

A bad day at the range beats a good day shovelling every time.

I got about 24 inches in some parts of my driveway.  and some of that in the front of my house.  I paved my driveway and 2/3 of my front yard so I had to clean about 2500 square feet plus a 70 foot sidewalk.  The toro snow blower was ok but I ordered a 27 inch Arien snow blower today from home depot.

Wow, it would be cool to shoot in the deep snow, I'd like to see my Mosin's muzzleblast blow craters in the snow, imagine trying to shoot prone, lol. I hope this doesn't cause any trouble for Appleseed, but having a layer of snow instead of sand would be useful.

Ahhhh. . . . Just across the street from me this morning.  Peaceful.

. . . However. . . The snow blower was not friendly to me all weekend. . . so had to do the four car driveway old style. . . shovel it by hand!  Ouch. . . I ache now.

Drive safe out there and enjoy the snow.  Before you know it. . . Spring will be here!

   Can you say BBQ!

Fortunately I had my Binford 2000 snowblower. 9hp and 22" high mouth. Of course that meant I had to help my neighbors who have those small girly man type electric shovels that are just good for shaving the snow. Boy am I tired today.

My Christmas morning plans were to go to the range and shoot.

The rain don't bother me, I wish it were a few days sooner though.
