I'm trying to get together a zombie airsoft game for Saturday November 7th at 10am. Not sure of the location yet, but I should make that determination at least a few days before the game. If anyone happens to have a large piece of private property that would be an excellent area for zombies, let me know, as we're always looking for better places to play, and good pieces of private property are in short supply. I will copy and paste the rules I wrote up on our little airsoft site, they may be subject to change, I'm going to ask Stevie before posting the link to the site though, if he approves you can join the site and go on the forums there.

Here is the link: http://northforklongislandairsoft.ning.com/

Survivor Rescue
Survivors are scattered in pairs or alone around the field. For every survivor, there will be 3-4 zombies. Zombies will be unarmed, zombies can move quickly, but they cannot sprint and run with great agility, they can run in relatively straight lines in bent-over, contorted postures so as to appear low on brains and physically deteriorated. Civilians will be armed with only handguns, shotguns, and bolt action snipers. It will take three center-of-mass shots to down a zombie. Headshots are discouraged as they are not particularly safe, however any headshot will be counted as one of the three COM hits. Hits on limbs will not count towards the three COM hits, but they will weaken or disable the limb. For example, a hit to the arm means that arm will now hang limp and cannot be used to grab at survivors, at hit to the leg will stop a zombie from running, but they can still walk and limp, multiple hits to the legs will make a zombie limp badly or have to crawl. This is pretty simple and should be easy to remember. A dead zombie that received three COM hits shall reanimate after three minutes or after survivors have left the area. A small Police Rescue Force will move from point A to point B collecting Survivors and trying to avoid Zombies. Police will be armed with any weapon, though they are limited to semi auto only. To infect a survivor or Police, a zombie must touch a survivor as if scratching or clawing them. An antidote must be administered within one minute, or the person succumbs to the zombie virus. Once the person is reached, it takes thirty seconds to administer the antidote, if zombies overrun their position, they must be abandoned. Only the Police have the antidote, though they can give it to a survivor to give to a victim. Zombies can grapple someone to the ground (gently of course), and kill them. The killed survivor or Police will then don their zombie mask and reanimate as one of the zombies after three minutes. The objective is to make it through a narrow corridor from point A to point B without getting zombified. Zombies cannot be shot at a range closer than 15-20 feet, at that distance your luck is bad and your weapon fails to function for whatever reason, and the zombies get you.

Zombie Bounty Hunters
Zombies will be armed in this game, though they are somewhat clumsy and inept. They should walk and run as described in the previous game, and they are killed in the same manner as the previous game, three COM hits with limb shots being non-lethal injuries. Zombies can be equipped with any weapon and a limited quantity of ammo, about 200 rounds. They may fire on full auto, but being zombies, they cannot aim accurately, guns must be fired with one outstretched arm, proper aiming and shooting technique is well beyond a zombie's capacities. Hunters are armed with any weapon, but again limited to semi auto only. When a Zombie is downed with the three shots, the hunter must make their way to the zombie within three minutes before it reanimates, and 'behead' the zombie, by taking the zombie mask. The beheaded zombie must now go to the respawn, where they can re-enter the game as a zombie again, or enter as a new hunter. Zombies can infect and kill hunters the same was as described in the previous game, and infected hunters are treated the same way as well. A hunter is injured by zombie gunfire and can be healed with a 30 second medic rule. Injuries to limbs or less than three COM hits, is a survivable injury that can be healed in 30 seconds. Limb injuries are debilitating the same as they are to zombies, so if you're hit in the leg three times you're crawling, not running, to a medic. Three COM hits to a hunter kills them and they are left for three minutes. If the zombies do not get to them in that three minutes, they may go to respawn and return as a zombie or a hunter. If the zombies get to them within the three minutes, they reanimate as a zombie three minutes after the zombies reach them, and they may continue to use their weapon, but only zombie-style. The objective is to eliminate all the zombies.

Things you will absolutely need to bring are:
-Airsoft guns; handguns, shotguns, and sniper rifles for civilians, aegs for hunted zombies and police/hunters.
-ZOMBIE/GHOUL MASK. People never bring these, we NEED them to identify zombies! They are like $15 at the party and halloween stores for the cheap ones. Buy something that is easy to put on, fits over eye protection, and will stay put. If it impairs your vision it doesn't matter as long as you can see well enough to safely walk around, cause you're a clumsy brain rotted zombie anyway!
-Everyone wears black pants, the reason being that as Police or Hunters you need to look somewhat uniform, but we can't go changing our pants in the field, thusly we must wear something that can pass for uniform and civilian at the same time.
-Civilian jackets and attire for survivors and hunters
-Tattered civilian clothes would be a nice touch for zombies to look more like zombies, nothing in camo colors.
-Camo jackets for police and hunters, vests, knee pads, etc as well. Camo pattern doesn't matter, as long as you're camo on top and black on bottom.
