I hate ruger and I hate subcalibers and I hate the no bho and I hate the concept of a pocket gun.
But, I need a pocket gun and I can't deny that this is an excellent firearm for the role at an excellent price.
Someone PLEASE talk me out of it within the week. |

If you have big hands it just doesn't feel right. Almost bought one but went with the kel-tec pf9 instead. A little bigger and felt better in my hand. |

I would go with a Walther PPS they come in a 9 and a 40. Nice gun, very small comparatively. I know Bruce at Hunter can ge them. They run about $750. |

i ahve small hands.
the walther mag release makes the magazines superfluous cause I can't get them out
and revolvers are out of the question. I carried a jframe for a year, didn't liek the way it carried as a pocket gun. |

Unofortunately, if you're looking for a real reason NOT to get one...they're tough to find.
I have medium/large hands and have no issues holding/shooting the LCP. For a pocket gun you're getting just that, a pocket gun, something you can put in your pocket and go about your buisness without having to worry about finding the right holster, wearing the right type of clothing.
The only downside is the cal. , but any gun is better than no gun. If you want more fire power save up for a Rohrbaugh, they're the same size, feel like a tank in your hand, but cost nearly three times as much as the LCP.
I say go for it. |

me? huge palms tiny fingers.
guns I've foudn worked for me:
1911's with a short trigger and flat msh are perfect. Single stack 9's are also good I currently have a beretta vertec that is at the top limit of my reach, but also good. XD9/40 fit ok too. revolvers are actually not that good for me cause of the big palm, though the trigger reach is great.
MY 'dream gun' now is a 9mm 1911...... I had a kimber 9mm a few years back, wish i still had it! |

"any gun is better than no gun" exactly.
the way I've heard it said is that "a pocket gun is a gun that you rarely go out with by itself (e.g. without a larger gun), but you never leave home without."
I need it for formal wear in a pocket holster. |

Two local stores have them in stock. I've had one on my mind lately and been looking out for them.
You can also say ammo shortage but from the stores I've been to I see it there.
Good Luck!!! |

I just bought an LCP also. Great gun for carry, but the sites are a little pathetic but I didn't buy it to target shoot! They make a lot of things to make it easier to hold. I have big paws and can only get 2 fingers on the grip so the +2 mag extension is in my future. |
