IMHO a .357 Load in a home defense revolver is just plain ridiculous---talk about a 9mm going through the house and out to burn into your neighbor's house. If you buy a .357 then use only .38 hydro shocks. Again IMHO a small .45 auto makes a better home gun you want knock down and not hole drilling. While a revolver is reliable and not subject to the vagaries of an auto i.e failure to feed, eject, stove-piping etc.--that .45 ACP is a brute of gun in the right hands. JMHO---- "Doc"
