Haven't been there in years, thinking of making a trip.
Anyone know what the cost is for Suffolk residents?

I think it's $15 for non-residents.

You guys are killing me. I'm going to be stuck in an office building all day while your having a blast.

I guess on the brightside, the money I'll make can go towards new guns and ammo...

My agency used to use this facility for qualification and in the Summer it was hot.  They used to shut down for the summer to refinish the floors, paint the walls and do lead removal.  They would open for us and a few other agencies.  It wasn't fun in the summer or winter.  After a long day in the winter you were frozen from being on the range all day, and in the summer you were exhausted from the heat.  Nothing bad to say about the place though.  We haven't used it in 4 years or so, but the people that worked there were great and always a pleasure to deal with.  Met a lot of great people there.  I miss it a bit, but now we have an indoor range at work with heat and a/c so I can't complain.

Great place to shoot and they do hold hunting classes there from time to time.  I am not sure if they have NRA classes there, but I think they used to.  Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

They actually redid the air filtration system there and it is really outstanding.
There is virtually no smell even with all the points used.
I like that range very much, a bit expensive for us non residents ($15.00) but it's a nice facility.
I go there mainly in the winter but never found it uncomforably cold. This is only for an hour or two, all day is a different story.

I am glad to hear they re did it.  It was a long time coming.  When the old system would shut down you couldn't see a darn thing!

I've never gone there NOT CC'ing.....

+1. I've been there many times. They seem to be a nice bunch, never been hasseled in any way. Get lots of looks firing my Desert Eagle 50AE indoors there. It's a flame thrower! LOL!

I went there tonight. Unfortunately, had to pay $15.00. I went there because I had work done on my High Standard Pistol Magazines at Colliseum Gun Traders.

Pretty nice range, clean, lit well, etc. Unfortunately, I'm not a Nassau resident so if I go there I'll have to pay the $15.00. I will probably not go regularly for that reason.
